Welcome, welcome friends!

Hello to those of you who have been here before and if you're new here, welcome!!! Fall is gearing up to be so busy for us here at home but maybe I'm just insane enough to invite more craziness into my life? I've posted a grad session shot at UTA before but that session was shot in the morning, so I wanted to provide the contrast of what an evening session looks like at UTA with me! If you are graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington this fall and looking to get quick and easy grad photos - I'd love to be your girl! I'm offering sessions in two areas - the SEIR building and the E. H. Hereford University Center, at both the morning and evening times. So I figured the best way to share what the potential photos would look like would be by sharing a session I'd already shot before!

Admittedly. these were shot in the evening on a sightly gloomy day so with proper sunlight you'd see more warm glow. This session was mostly overcast when we shot it as you can see in the gray clouds but I don't think it affected it too badly. I didn't feel like I had to crank my settings to be super dramatic when I was shooting these. We started off at the SEIR building and worked to capture some of the greenery, the little pebbles, that industrial structure, as well as those UTA flags by the street lamps. From there we played around with the grad paraphernalia as much as possible! Everything from the cap, to the gown, to the stole was used and I thought these turned out to be quite fabulous..

Now when we moved over to the University Center, the sun did start to come out a little bit so that's where you're seeing that glow on Angela's skin in these photos! The clouds were moving so the lighting kept changing and we did keep moving around to accommodate that as much as possible. Overall, I love how the blue gown pops in this space and I loved being able to put her front and center in front of the maverick statue in the middle of the plaza! We moved off to the side to capture some greenery and do the champagne pop at the very end (because it does go everywhere) and I really am obsessed with how these turned out.

This was one of my favorite grad sessions I shot this year and I'm always looking to outdo myself and shoot new favorite sessions. That could be one of you!!! I hope to see some of your faces if you're graduating this Fall 2025, and I hope these photos provided that insight and preview that you were looking for when it comes to working with me! XOXO,
